Renovations to this Forest Hill Toronto house focused on transforming a basement room into a library and den. Matching cabinetry and trim with strong horizontal lines, and strong paint colours unify and warm the room. Built-in cherry cabinets incorporate open shelving and glass and wood screened doors. The screened doors seamlessly continue over radiators and act as camouflage and heat distributor. PLANT’s work included the colour scheme and furniture selection, as well as cherry window casings.
