The rear garden for this west-end Toronto house was small and constrained on one side by a shared garage, which was to contain a small “breakfast nook”, BBQ area, sunbathing bench, dining area, planting beds and a water feature. The terraced upper deck leads to a cobbled area interplanted with thyme and to the dining area paved with black bricks. Trellises were added to the existing fence to allow for vine cover, while a new fence screened the driveway and A/C units from the garden.
